Disclaimer – colours of actual prints may vary from different computer and device settings.
Canvas & Block Mounting
Do I have to frame my canvas?
No you don’t – canvasses come ready to hang.
What’s the difference between white edge and gallery wrap?
White edge means the image is only the front surface of the canvas, the edges are left white. Gallery wrap means the actual image is wrapped around the canvas.
What is Block Mounting?
A cheaper alternative way to hang pictures on your wall. We print them, then mount them onto 20mm block mount board and finish them off with white or black edges. Also great for presentations!
Mount & Frame
What is a mount? Do I need to have one?
A mount creates a space between the image and the frame. It also stops the image from over time sticking to the acrylic (you should not frame anything valuable up against glass or acrylic). However, if you’re framing something that’s not valuable you can absolutely not have a mount. Mounts are not used on canvasses.
Do I have to order a print?
No, you don’t. If you have something you’d like to frame at home just go to MOUNT & FRAME and order an empty frame.
How do I measure my picture for an empty frame?
Measure the exact image size, then come in 5mm all around to make sure the image does not come through the mat.
How do I choose the right colour mount for my picture?
There really are no rules. As far as suggestions, pick a focal point in your image and concentrate on those. Alternatively, stick with the neutral colours.
How do I choose the right frame for my image?
Again, no rules, other than not making the width of your moulding wider than your mount board. You will either like what you see or not, but having a play with different mouldings will give you a good idea. Personal taste and where you are going the hang your frame also plays a part.
Can you put more than one image in a frame?
Of course! The system currently can’t take more than 1 image at a time so these orders are ‘on request’ but give us a call or shoot us an email and we can add as many as you like.
Still stuck? ASK OUR OPINION, we’d love to help!
Do you use glass?
For safety reasons, we use a high-quality acrylic. Trust me, you won’t see the difference!
Why custom framing?
Having an image custom framed means that you can make your frame, mount etc ANY size you want, to within millimetres.

Our standard freight charge is $19.50 Australia wide. If you’re ordering more than 2 frames we will have to quote a freight charge.
